Antonio Candreva knows he and his teammates will not be in for an easy ride when they take on Napoli and has insisted that the team can still improve upon what has been an excellent league campaign so far.

“It is an important match like every match in the league is. We are facing a quality team but we are prepared to face the best,” he began in an interview with Italian broadcaster Rai.

“The manager is important not only for me but for the whole of Inter, for my teammates and staff. The results are showing that but we can still improve yet.”

In an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV, he added: “We have come here and want to play our own game. Staying at the top of the league is what we want. We prepare every day to improve ourselves.”

This season he has made 19 appearances across all competitions. In 1231 minutes, he has scored three goals and tallied five assists.
