Stefano Sensi will start tonight’s match away to Napoli from the bench according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Several reports in recent days have suggested that the 24-year-old Italian international would be starting for the first time since October 6 having now recovered from injury but the Rome based newspaper state that it would be too great a risk to start him so soon after recovering, especially given he is not in top condition yet.

Therefore, Matias Vecino will retain his position in the middle of the park.

Nicolo Barella and Alexis Sanchez, who have both also recently recovered from injury, will both also start the match at the Stadio San Paolo on the substitutes bench.

The report goes on to add that Alessandro Bastoni is likely to keep his place in the team ahead of Diego Godin as Conte looks to achieve a fourth clean sheet in the last six Serie A matches.
