Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa is to meet with Inter management in the coming days to discuss his future with the club according to a report from Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte.

The coming days, as per the report, will be decisive for the 23-year-old, who Flamengo are hopeful of signing to a permanent deal following a highly successful loan spell with them last year.

Gabigol netted 43 goals and provided 13 assists in 58 appearances across all competitions for the Rio de Janeiro based club and helped fire them to Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Copa Libertadores glory.

Inter are certain that Gabigol’s future lies away from the club but they are awaiting offers that convince them to part ways with the player who they forked out around €30 million for back in 2016.

Whilst he could end up back with Flamengo, he could also end up in the Premier League with both West Ham United and Chelsea showing an interest in signing him.
