Sporting’s Marcos Acuna is now even unhappier with the club following their decision to knock back the several offers that have arrived for him in recent weeks according to a report in today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

Inter are one of a few clubs understood to have submitted bids for the 28-year-old full back but Sporting have not entertained them.

Russian Premier League side Zenit St. Petersburg tabled an offer for the former Racing Club man last year and it was also rejected. This upset Acuna who was then promised that he would be offered a new and improved deal by the club but no new deal has been forthcoming.

Acuna, who is under contract with the Lisbon based club through to the end of the 2022/23 season, has made 22 appearances across all competitions this term. In just over 1800 minutes on the field, he has scored one goal and contributed a single assist.
