In an interview with FCInterNews.it, Fernando Garcia, the agent of Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri, has made it clear that his client is happy at the club and will not leave this month amid interest from elsewhere.
“Chelsea are not going to deprive themselves of Emerson Palmieri at this moment. He is happy in London and therefore he will not change teams now,” he explained.
The Italo-Brazilian full back has drawn links to both Inter and Juventus in recent weeks with both clubs looking to bolster their full back departments during this transfer window.
The 25-year-old has been with the blues since a move from Roma back in the January transfer window when he arrived at the express request of then Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who is now in charge at Inter.
This season the former Santos man has made 16 appearances across all competitions. In 1236 minutes on the field, he has contributed a single assist.
