Inter and Chelsea could exchange Diego Godin and Antonio Rudiger during this transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Libero.
Godin has fallen out of favour in recent weeks at Inter with 20-year-old Alessandro Bastoni being preferred to him as of late which has led to suggestions being made that he could leave the Nerazzurri, just six months after arriving on a free transfer after his deal with Atletico Madrid expired.
Rudiger has also found playing time hard to come by this term. The 26-year-old German, who is a former Roma player, has been limited to just nine appearances across all competitions.
The report goes on to add that this might not be the only business conducted between the clubs as Chelsea are keen on Inter striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
As per the report, Chelsea could offer Olivier Giroud as part of any deal for the 23-year-old striker, who Inter are wanting €20 million for.
