Out-Of-Favour Inter Winger Matteo Politano Open To Returning To Roma

Matteo Politano has already given the go ahead to join Roma according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

As per the report, the Giallorossi club have identified their former youth academy prospect as a player they could bring in once they get rid of Cengiz Ünder.

Ünder has fallen down the pecking order this season in the Italian capital with manager Paulo Fonseca tending to prefer Nicolo Zaniolo to him and Roma are hoping to be able to make a capital gain with his sale.

The report goes on to state that Roma will have to agree to a permanent deal with Inter as the Nerazzurri club have no interest in loaning out the former Sassuolo man.

It also goes on to state that Fiorentina are keen on signing the 26-year-old and Inter could use him in a deal for La Viola midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli.
