Chelsea are now open to offers for defender Marcos Alonso according to a report from British newspaper The Telegraph.
The Spanish full back has fallen out of favour at the club this season and has drawn links to Inter and Juventus in recent weeks but up until now Chelsea appeared adamant he was going nowhere and therefore slapped a hefty price-tag on his head to deter the interest.
The club are now open to offers for him due to the fact they could use funds raised through his sale to help fund a move for £40 million rated Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake.
Inter manager Antonio Conte is keen to be re-united with Alonso, who he signed whilst in charge of Chelsea, with him on the hunt for a new left back this month.
The report goes on to add that Inter are also leading the race to sign Alonso’s Chelsea teammate Olivier Giroud.
