Sebastiano Esposito will sign a contract extension until the end of the 2024/25 season with Inter upon turning 18 according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are in talks with his representatives over the terms of the contract which will see him get a big raise on the €100,000 he currently earns each year.

The 17-year-old striker, who will turn 18 on July 2, has been given a real taste of first team action this season with him having made seven appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored a single goal.

Esposito is widely regarded as one of the club’s biggest prospects in years and the contract to 2025 is evidence of Inter’s belief in him.

The Italian youth international has been with the club since the age of 12 and has scored goals for fun as he has progressed through the club’s academy ranks. He is currently under contract to 2022.
