Despite seemingly having agreed personal terms with Manchester United’s Ashley Young, Inter are not giving up in their pursuit of Sporting’s Marcos Acuna according to a report in today’s print edition of Portuguese newspaper Record.

Inter, as per reports in the past few days, have already had an offer rejected by the Portuguese giants for the 28-year-old but the Nerazzurri are now ready to go in with a new and improved offer.

This offer is expected to be closer to Sporting’s €15 million demands for the Argentine international defender, who is said to be unhappy in the Portuguese capital due to them rejecting several offers for him and failing to live up to their promise of a new contract for him.

Acuna, who has been with Sporting since the Summer of 2017, has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season. In 1817 minutes on the field, he has contributed two goals and a single assist.
