A report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia has provided an update on Inter’s attempts to sign Ashley Young, Arturo Vidal and Christian Eriksen.

Starting with Young, Inter have already agreed terms with the player but are awaiting to see what Manchester United plan to do with him. United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be weighing up whether or not to offer him a new deal.

It meanwhile remains difficult for Inter in their bid to land Arturo Vidal. Vidal is unhappy with his lack of starts this season but Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde is understood to still deem him an important player. Barcelona are not wanting to let him go but the player is looking to depart.

Finally, as for Eriksen, his current employers Spurs would happily sell him this month as it would mean they would avoid losing him for nothing in the Summer. For the time being, Inter are solely thinking about him for the Summer due to the fact Vidal is their number one target for the midfield.
