Negotiations between Inter and Manchester United over Ashley Young should not be too difficult a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport suggests.

News broke last night that Inter had agreed personal terms with the veteran 34-year-old on the basis of an 18 month contract and now Inter must strike a deal with the Premier League outfit.

As per the Rome based newspaper, the contract could include an extension clause for a further season if certain conditions are met such as a set number of appearances in the final season.

Young has fallen down the pecking order at the club this season following the emergence of youngster Brandon Williams.

The 39-time England international’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season and Inter are hopeful that Manchester United may agree to let him go for free. If not, Inter are not wanting to spend a large amount on the former Aston Villa and Watford man.

The report goes on to conclude that Young will replace Kwadwo Asamoah in Inter’s UEFA squad list for the second half of the season.
