Sandro Tonali is one of Inter’s top targets for the Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Inter met with his representatives yesterday to have, what is described by the report as an informal chat, with regards to a possible switch in the coming months.

Inter are long-term admirers of the 19-year-old sensation, who has drawn comparisons to legendary Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo in the past.

He will not come cheap however with Brescia understood to be looking for €50 million to part ways with the midfielder, who is seen as one of the best Italian prospects out there at the moment.

The report goes on to state that Inter have high hopes about Tonali and his possible arrival does not depend on the future of Marcelo Brozovic.

Brozovic is Inter’s best midfielder at the moment and is deemed as an indispensable asset but does have a €60 million release clause in his contract which is only valid to foreign clubs. In the event that Brozovic does leave however, the report insists that Inter will have a more than suitable replacement in Tonali.
