Manchester United have not made an offer to Tottenham Hotspur to sign Christian Eriksen, contrary to reports currently doing the rounds, according to a report from British broadcaster Sky Sports.

Reports in recent days have suggested that the Red Devils had tabled a £20 million (approximately €23.5 million) offer for the Danish international playmaker, whose contract with the north London club is due to expire at the end of this season.

Sky Sports however understand that no bid has been made and United have no intention of bidding for the 27-year-old this month.

The report goes on to state that the former Ajax man is also ‘likely to be on his way’ to Inter although Inter are currently prioritising the signing of Arturo Vidal from Barcelona.

This season Eriksen has made 24 appearances across all competitions. In almost 1400 minutes on the pitch, he has scored three goals and tallied just as many assists.
