Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is open to letting Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri leave the club but will only let them depart in the Summer according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The duo have both fallen down the pecking order at the club this season and this has led to them both being linked with moves to Inter and Juventus this month.

Chelsea have seemingly been demanding in excess of €30 million for each player in a bid to deter the interest and it appears to have at least worked in deterring Inter.

Inter have, as per various reports, moved on and agreed terms with Manchester United’s Ashley Young. The 34-year-old defender is out of contract at the end of the season and Inter are waiting to see if Manchester United will let him go this month.

United are desperate to hold on to the 39-time England international and have offered him a contract but the former Aston Villa player has rejected it due to being set on a move to Inter.
