Inter are open to selling Matteo Politano this month but will not let him depart the club for any less than €20 million according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter’s city rivals AC Milan are understood to have sparked an interest in signing the out-of-favour winger, who is believed to be keen on the switch to the Rossoneri due to his lack of playing time this season.
The former Sassuolo player, who joined Inter for €25 million this past Summer following a successful loan spell, has struggled to force his way into the team for the simple reason he does not have natural position in Antonio Conte’s system.
Politano has made 14 appearances across all competitions this season but just two of those have come as a starter. The 26-year-old, who is under contract with Inter until 2023, has failed to contribute any goals or assists in 305 minutes on the field.
