Ashley Young has asked Manchester United management to sell him to Inter according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Reports in recent days in the media have stated that Young has already agreed to an 18 month contract with the Nerazzurri club and it now remains to be seen if United will let him go this month and for how much.

The 34-year-old, who is the current captain of the Premier League side, has made 18 appearances this season but has lost his place in the team in recent weeks to academy product Brandon Williams.

The report goes on to state that Inter have also been in contact with Tottenham Hotspur over Christian Eriksen and have also been in touch the Danish international’s representatives.

It concludes that the outcome of Inter’s pursuit of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal will determine whether Inter make a move for €20 million rated Eriksen this month.
