There is a conflict of interests between Mauro Icardi and his wife, and agent, Wanda Icardi with regards to where his future lies according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
Inter shipped Icardi out on loan to reigning French champions Paris Saint Germain during the Summer and the player himself is seemingly open to staying in Paris past this season.
PSG have an option to turn his stay permanent for a sum of €70 million and are understood to be very keen on doing so given how well Icardi has played. The 26-year-old has scored 17 goals in 19 games across all competitions since arriving in the French capital.
The report goes on to report that Wanda however is looking to bring him back to Italy, most likely to Inter’s arch-rivals Juventus, who are long-term admirers of him.
A deal being agreed between Inter and Juventus over his transfer is far easier said than done though due to the fact relations are so hostile between the two clubs who are fighting it out to win the Serie A title this term.
