Werder Bremen Submit Loan Offer For Inter’s Valentino Lazaro But Deal Is Unlikely To Happen

Bundesliga club Werder Bremen are interested in taking Inter defender Valentino Lazaro on loan this month according to a report from German broadcaster Sky Sport Deutschland.

Die Grün-Weißen’s sporting director Frank Baumann has submitted a loan offer to Inter for the Austrian defender but a deal is very unlikely to take place with both Inter and the player himself against the idea of a move taking place during this window.

Lazaro only joined Inter this past Summer from Hertha Berlin in a circa €20 million deal but he has so far struggled to cement his place in Inter manager Antonio Conte’s starting line-up.

The 23-year-old has made just 10 appearances to date across all competitions but just three of which have come as a starter.

In 423 minutes on the field, the former Red Bull Salzburg full back, who is capable of playing on either side, has provided two assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
