Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has saved 30% of the penalties he’s faced in Serie A, according to a statistic gathered by statistics account OptaPaolo on Twitter.
The 35-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2021, has saved 24 out of the 79 penalties he’s faced, although his save against Luis Muriel’s penalty was his first penalty save since April 2017. Handanovic has made 25 appearances for the Nerazzurri so far this season.
