Inter Primavera coach Armando Madonna discussed the side’s 3-1 win over the Empoli Primavera squad earlier today in an interview with Italian broadcaster Inter TV.
“The result is very positive, we had important answers from the whole squad despite the injured players.”
Madonna continued talking about the win over Empoli today.
“In the second half we could certainly have done better, we thought too much about securing the result and less about playing. However, we defended carefully and brought home the victory. The thing that satisfies us most is to have understood once again that this is a squad that we can trust, even those who played less have showed great determination and desire to win.”
The Primavera squad are now 3rd in the Primavera 1 table after 13 games, five points behind second place Cagliari, who have played one more game than the Milanese squad. Today’s win was Inter’s third in their last five games.
