Christian Eriksen is close to agreeing terms over a move to Inter according to a report from British newspaper The Times.

As per the report, the Danish playmaker has reached an agreement in principle over a four year contract that would see him earn £100,000 (approximately £116,000) a week at the Nerazzurri.

Eriksen’s contract with Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur is due to expire at the end of this season and with Eriksen seemingly having zero intention of extending his deal, they are desperate to offload him this month to avoid losing him for nothing.

As per the report, Spurs are demanding £20 million (approximately €23 million) for the 27-year-old, who has been with them since a 2013 move from Dutch powerhouses Ajax.

This season, multi-time Danish player of the year Eriksen has made 25 appearances across all competitions for the north London club. In 1455 minutes on the field, he has scored three goals and tallied just as many assists.
