Daniele Chiffi has been assigned as the referee for tomorrow night’s Coppa Italia match between Inter and Cagliari.

The 35-year-old will be refereeing his 10th match across all competitions this season when he takes charge of the whistle at San Siro and it will be the second time he referees a match involving the Nerazzurri and Rossoblu this season.

Chiffi was in charge for Inter’s 2-2 draw at home to Parma back on match day nine and had refereed Cagliari’s 2-0 home win over SPAL the week prior to that.

Chiffi has handed out 40 yellow cards and one red card and has awarded two penalties during the matches he has refereed so far this season.

Giacomo Paganessi and Davide Imperiale will be his assistants for the match whilst Valerio Marini will be the fourth official.

Aleandro Di Paolo has been assigned to take charge of VAR and he will have Alessandro Lo Cicero alongside him to assist.
