Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is expected to fly to London to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur over Christian Eriksen after Inter’s Coppa Italia match with Cagliari according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Marotta met with the player’s agent a few days ago and submitted a contract offer to him and everything points toward the player accepting it.

As per the report, Marotta will offer Spurs €15 million for the Danish international playmaker who is out of contract come the end of this season.

Inter are financing their move for the former Ajax man through the sale of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa, with Inter already having an agreement with Flamengo over a €16 million deal.

This season Eriksen has made 25 appearances across all competitions for the north London club. In 1455 minutes on the field, Eriksen has scored three goals and provided just as many assists for his teammates.
