Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho has claimed to know what the future holds for Christian Eriksen as part of his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup replay with Middlesbrough.
“Tomorrow he will play and then we have another game on Saturday and maybe he will play that too. He is helping us although against Liverpool I will agree that he was not at his best. I do not know if he will stay here in January. I know his future but I will not say it,” he explained.
Eriksen has drawn very strong links with a move to Inter with some reports even going so far as to suggest there is already an agreement in principle over personal terms.
Eriksen’s contract with Spurs is due to expire at the end of this season and with him having zero intention of agreeing to an extension, Spurs are desperate to try and offload him this month and are seeking €20 million for him.
