Napoli making a move for Matteo Politano will depend on the sales they manage to make this month according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

The Stadio San Paolo club have seemingly got a keen interest in signing Politano due to Jose Callejon’s performances this season that have been below expectations and because his contract with them is due to expire at the end of this season.

Napoli face competition from AC Milan, Fiorentina and Roma for Politano, who only joined Inter on a permanent basis six months ago following on from a successful loan spell during the 2018/19 season.

As per various reports in the media in recent weeks, Inter are open to dealing away Politano so long as they receive an offer in the region of €20-25 million for him.

A number of swap deals have also been speculated about with Napoli’s Fernando Llorente and AC Milan’s Franck Kessie both named as players who could potentially be used.
