Inter’s owners Suning have paid out bonuses worth €4.6 million for the team’s performances during the first half of the 2019/20 Serie A season according to a report from football finance experts Calcio e Finanza.

Due to the team finishing in the Champions League places after the first 19 games, Suning, who took charge of the club back in the Summer of 2016, have injected €3.5 million.

The remaining €1.1 million comes with thanks to the wins over Napoli and AC Milan, which were both worth €550,000.

After 19 league games played, Inter currently occupy second spot in the table. They have amassed 46 points from a possible 57 available to them and trail league leaders and arch-rivals Juventus by two points.

Antonio Conte’s Inter have won 14, drawn four and lost just once, with that loss dating back to October 6th’s Derby D’Italia with Juventus.

Inter can boast having the third best attacking record in the league with 40 goals scored and also boast the best defensive record having conceded just 16.
