Inter are likely to recall young goalkeeper Ionut Radu from his loan spell with Genoa this month according to a report from today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Mattia Perin’s arrival at Genoa in recent weeks has led to Radu dropping down the club’s pecking order, a decision that has been openly criticised by Radu’s representatives who feel their client has been disrespected.

If Radu is recalled by the Nerazzurri, he could spend the second half of the season playing as the understudy to Inter’s current number one Samir Handanovic with Inter manager Antonio Conte understood to be a big fan of the Romanian international. This plan could however change depending on if any loan offers arrive for the 22-year-old.

Radu, who re-joined Inter on a permanent basis this past Summer, has made 19 appearances across all competitions this season. He has conceded 37 goals and kept two clean sheets in the process.
