Inter and Roma have agreed a swap deal in principle that would involve Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The two clubs will hold more talks throughout today and come to a decision whether it will be an exchange of loans or an outright swap.

This swap deal has come following Nicolo Zaniolo’s season ending ACL injury at the weekend with Roma desperate to bolster their wing department now they will have to do without Zaniolo for the foreseeable future.

The swap deal suits Inter as well as it helps them fill their need for a new left wing back. The Nerazzurri have been linked to several players in recent weeks and even agreed personal terms with Manchester United’s Ashley Young and it now remains to be seen if they will see the deal out for the 34-year-old Englishman.
