Inter have presented a contract offer to Christian Eriksen who is taking his time to mull over the offer according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.
Reports in Britain have suggested the deal looks to be on the home straight but Corriere della Sera insist that it is not as easy as this.
Whilst Inter are the only team to have made him an offer, he is understood to want to evaluate other potential offers that could arrive from the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, who have both shown a keen interest in signing him.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that if Matias Vecino is to leave this month, Inter will be forced to bring in another midfielder. The Nerazzurri have in fact already identified AC Milan’s Franck Kessie as a man they could go in for.
It also goes on to add that it looks like Arturo Vidal is set to stay put at Barcelona. Vidal appeared to be Inter’s number one target but would appear more willing to stay in Spain after Ernesto Valverde was sacked.
