Galante: “Eriksen’s Arrival Would Raise The Level Of This Inter Team”

Former Inter player Fabio Galante has shared his views on the proposed swap deal between Inter and Roma involving Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola.

“They are two very strong players. I have seen Matteo in action many times and Roma are getting an excellent player,” he began an interview with Italian radio station TMW Radio.

“Politano has shown he is capable of playing for a big club and has demonstrated his qualities whilst at Inter. I know less about Spinazzola but he will do just fine for Antonio Conte.”

He then went on to share his thoughts on Inter’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.

“Eriksen’s arrival would raise the level of this Inter team. Inter must sign players like Eriksen to try and battle it out with Juventus until the end of the season. We are not used to such big signings happening in January but Eriksen would be a great buy.

“Where will he play? With a good manager, players can play in many positions. Take Marcelo Brozovic for example who has turned into a great regista.”
