Inter have agreed to loan Federico Dimarco to Hellas Verona for the remainder of the season according to a report on the website of Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

The clubs reached an agreement over the past few days and the deal for the Italian defender should be finalised within the next week.

Dimarco has been limited to just three appearances across all competitions this season, just one of which have come as a starter, and the loan to the Gialloblu club will enable him to get far more regular time on the pitch.

The 22-year-old is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season and reports elsewhere in the media have suggested his imminent move to Hellas Verona could be part of Inter’s bid to sign Marash Kumbulla from them.

The same reports have suggested that Inter could also agree to extend Eddie Salcedo’s loan with the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi side until the end of next season.
