Tuesday could be a key day in Inter’s pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen according to what Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio had to say during his show Calcio Mercato L’Originale.

As per Di Marzio, Inter’s offer for Eriksen is €13 million upfront with €2 million in bonuses for a total value of €15 million but it still falls short of Spurs’ €20 million demands for the Danish international.

The player’s agent Martin Schoots, who has recently been in Milan holding talks with Inter, will meet with Spurs on Tuesday in what could be a very important day for the transfer.

Spurs supremo David Levy is expected to ask Schoots to get his client to make some kind of financial sacrifice in order to get the deal over the finish line.

The report concludes that all parties involved are hopeful that the deal could be concluded in the middle of next week.
