Ashley Young could make his Inter debut as early as this weekend according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Englishman is currently in Milan to complete his medical and afterwards he will then finalise a move to Inter, who have agreed a €1.5 million fee with Manchester United.

Whether Young will be able to play on Sunday away to Lecce will all depend on the English FA who have to give clearance of the deal. They need to do so before 3:00 PM local time tomorrow.

The report from the Rome based newspaper also claims that should Inter go on to win the Serie A title this season, they will pay Manchester United a bonus payment of €500,000.

The 34-year-old will be leaving Manchester United after eight and a half years during which time he represented them 261 times across all competitions in which he scored 19 goals and provided 43 assists.
