Roma are considering taking legal action against Inter after the swap deal that would have seen Leonardo Spinazzola and Matteo Politano exchanged completely collapsed yesterday according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

The two clubs had reached an agreement and the players underwent – and passed – medicals but at the last minute Inter attempted to change the terms of the deal.

The two players were set to be exchanged on a loan with obligation to buy basis but Inter tried to change things so that the obligation only came into force after a set amount of appearances or minutes.

Roma are in contact with their legal team trying to work out if there is any grounds to launch legal action against the Nerazzurri.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is also in contact with Inter’s legal team.
