Inter full back Cristiano Biraghi spoke to Italian broadcaster Inter TV moments ago ahead of this afternoon’s Serie A clash away against Lecce.
First, Biraghi spoke about what he expects in today’s match compared to the first meeting between these two sides earlier this season.
“It was a difficult game and it’s a heated environment. They are playing to stay up and they want to fight for it. But we must go on our way and start the second half of the season as we did the first. We’re here to win.”
The 27-year-old Italian then touched on the difficulties in today’s game.
“Every game has its own stumbling blocks, also they’re at home and fighting with their fans. It will be important to keep the rhythm and try to steer the game right away.”
Finally, Biraghi discussed what the squad are hoping to achieve in the second half of the season.
“The goal is to improve, we’ll try to win more points than in the first half of the season.”
