In an interview with broadcaster DAZN, Inter teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito has spoken on a range of different topics, firstly starting on the topic of doing interviews.

“I am doing a lot of interviews but it is a beautiful thing to talk about my past and discuss my dreams. Doing interviews is something you have to do and you have to learn how to do interviews,” he began.

“When I was a child I knew I had to grow up quickly, I was not the same as the other children. I couldn’t do the same things as they could and they couldn’t do the same things as me.

“Playing at Inter is not something for everyone and therefore I had to sacrifice myself. At the same time, I have had a lot of satisfaction. I will not deny it, I feel at least three years older than I am. My father never puts any pressure on me. He gives me a lot of advice particularly on a human level.”

The interview then quizzed the youngster on the possibility of Inter winning the Serie A title.

“Can we win the Scudetto this season? We must keep our feet on the ground.”

Next he spoke on how it feels to play at San Siro.

“I have experienced it as a fan and I can say that when playing there everything changes. There is absolutely no silence because there is an extraordinary atmosphere. There is an incredible amount of emotions you feel. It is difficult for me to explain quite what those feelings are but it is something a 17-year-old dreams of.”

He proceeded to speak on the relationship that he has with his family.

“I have an excellent relationship with my whole family. We have made so many sacrifices, we know where we come from and where we want to go. I live in a boarding school though so I see them very little.”

Next he spoke on his relationship with Inter teammate Romelu Lukaku.

“He has always helped me out. The things that surprised me most about him is that he already knew me and I did not know how. He then explained to me that he had seen me play at the Under 17 European Championship’s. He has taken me under his wing and our friendship was born immediately.”

He then spoke on Inter manager Antonio Conte.

“He is good at using the carrot and stick. He knows when he must stimulate you.”

In conclusion he was asked what he thinks the most beautiful thing that could happen to him.

“I hope to realise my dreams but it is difficult to make them come true by closing my eyes. I know it takes a lot of sacrifice. I will keep my biggest dreams to myself.”
