Italian Report Claims Matteo Politano Only Wants To Leave Inter For Roma

Matteo Politano has no interest in leaving Inter for anyone other than Roma according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Politano is dreaming of being able to don the shirt of his boyhood heroes and has knocked back the advances of Napoli, Monaco and Sevilla due to being so set on the idea of playing for the Giallorossi.

As per the report, Roma are ready to make an offer to sign Politano on an 18 month loan deal from Inter with an option to buy set at €20 million attached.

Inter are happy with the finances involved in this deal but want it to be an obligation to buy after Politano has played 10 games for the Italian capital city club instead so it can have an impact on the club’s budget at the end of this season.

Roma can meanwhile only make it an obligation to buy at the end of the 2021 season. It is now down to the player’s agent Davide Lippi to work out a deal that satisfies all parties involved.
