Napoli have agreed terms with Inter these past few hours for the transfer of Italian international winger Matteo Politano, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported on air moments ago.
According to the report, Napoli have offered Inter to take the former Sassuolo player on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, set at €25 million. This obligation will be in effect without any stipulating conditions as to how many matches Politano needs to play before Napoli are forced to sign him.
Furthermore it is reported, that Napoli will look to meet with the player’s representatives tomorrow to try and agree terms with the player who considers the Partenopei to be an important club.
So far Politano has only been open to a transfer to Roma since the Spinzzola swap collapsed but according to the report he has given a green light to discussing terms with Napoli. Should Roma not respond it seems likely that Politano will soon continue his career in Naples.
