A sum of €2 million separates Inter and Tottenham Hotspur in negotiations over Christian Eriksen according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.
Spurs are well aware that Eriksen wishes to join Inter and know that a deal must be found with Inter before the end of this month or they will lose the Danish international for nothing at the end of the season due to the fact his contract expires then.
The north London club had originally been demanding €20 million for Eriksen but have now dropped their demands to €17 million with time running out.
Inter, as per the report, have offered a deal worth €15 million in total and are hopeful of being able to complete a deal for the 27-year-old by the end of this week.
This season former Ajax man Eriksen has made 27 appearances across all competitions. During his time on the field, he has scored three goals and tallied just as many assists.
