Napoli have come in for Matteo Politano and agreed terms with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Azzurri club have tabled a €25 million offer for the former Sassuolo winger, who is seriously thinking about a move to the Stadio San Paolo between now and the end of the transfer window.

Napoli wish to sign Politano on a loan with obligation to buy deal and the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to detail that Napoli striker Fernando Llorente could well also be included in any deal.

It now remains to be seen if Roma will come back in for the 26-year-old, having seen a deal for him collapse last week.

The Giallorossi club had agreed a swap deal with Inter that would have seen Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola exchanged but the deal collapsed at the last minute when Inter tried to change the terms.
