Conflicting reports are doing the rounds in the Italian media regarding the status of Inter’s move for Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen.

Some reports have suggested that Inter have made an offer totalling €18 million for the Danish international and are awaiting a response from Spurs.

In the event Spurs knock back the offer, the Nerazzurri are ready to raise their offer to €15 million plus €5 million in bonuses. €2 million of those bonuses will be easy to achieve whilst the other €3 million will be a little more difficult.

However, according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, more time is still needed for a deal to be completed due to Spurs’ reluctance to drop their demands for the 27-year-olds. They go on to add that the move is by no means at any risk of collapsing.

Eriksen has made 28 appearances across all competitions to date this season. He has contributed three goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
