Danilo D’Ambrosio has now fully recovered from his recent injury problem according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The 31-year-old Italian international defender has been out on the sidelines for the past few weeks due to a muscle injury which he sustained in training but he is now back in full training with the rest of his Nerazzurri teammates.

His recovery will come as a welcome boost to Inter manager Antonio Conte given Antonio Candreva is to miss this weekend’s match against Cagliari.

As per the Turin based newspaper, D’Ambrosio will by vying for the starting right wing back spot with new recruit Ashley Young, who joined the club on a six month deal from Manchester United just under a week ago.

This season D’Ambrosio, who joined Inter back in January 2014 from Torino, has made 14 appearances across all competitions. In 937 minutes on the field, D’Ambrosio has scored one goal.
