Only details remain before Napoli complete the signing of Italian international winger Matteo Politano from Inter with Spanish striker Fernando Llorente going in the opposite way, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia reported moments ago.
According to the report, there is an agreement in place between the two clubs for the transfer of Politano to go through on the basis of an 18 month loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the loan set at €25 million. It is reported further that only few minor details need to be ironed out between the the parties before the deal will be finalized.
This after Politano’s agents met with representatives from Napoli to try and find a final agreement regarding the player’s personal terms. The Nerazzurri are ready to loan Fernando Llorente as part of the deal once Politano has accepted Napoli’s contract offer.
This would mean that Inter will no longer pursue Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud.
In conclusion, according to the report, Inter and Napoli have also spoken about swapping Vecino and Allan but given the different evaluations of each player they have decided to postpone those talks until after negotiations concerning Llorenta and Politano have been concluded.
