Italian Report Claims Llorente Is More Likely To Arrive At Inter Than Giroud

Fernando Llorente is more likely to arrive at Inter than Olivier Giroud at this moment according to a report in today’s print edition of La Repubblica.

Llorente’s name has been brought up in talks between Inter and Napoli over the potential transfer of Matteo Politano and it could be the case that he is included in a deal.

Napoli and Inter have reached an agreement in principle over Politano’s transfer on the basis of an 18 month loan with obligation to buy attached and it is now up to Politano’s agent Davide Lippi to convince him to join the Azzurri.

The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to state that Inter and Napoli could do yet more business with one another before the end of the transfer window.

The two clubs could in fact exchange Matias Vecino and Allan. The difference in the player’s values makes a permanent swap quite difficult but the clubs could agree to a dry loan swap and hold further talks in the Summer.
