Chievo Verona are trying to sign Ibrahim Karamoko to a new and improved contract in an attempt to deter the recent interest in him according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The young French midfielder, who predominantly plays for the Gialloblu’s Primavera side, has drawn links to Inter in the past few days and the report states that Inter are far from alone in being interested in him.

Roma, Juventus, Torino, Strasbourg and Tolouse are all also understood to be interested in the 18-year-old, who has made three appearances at first team level to date.

Chievo Verona are understood to be looking for at least €4 million for Karamoko, who has been with them since 2017, when he joined them from LOSC Lille’s academy.

This season Karamoko has made 14 appearances across all competitions to date, one of which has been for the first team. In 1184 minutes on the field, he has scored one goal and provided a single assist.
