Former Napoli midfielder Michele Pazienza discussed Inter and coach Antonio Conte in an interview with Italian media outlet JuveNews.eu yesterday.

“So far Inter have had an excellent league campaign, even going beyond expectations. It is true that when you take Conte expectations rise automatically, but it is not easy to do what Inter have done until now. They have made moves on the market, looking for useful players for what would fit Conte’s game ideas, I don’t think they have bought a lot of players, but they have worked well, a few good ones.”

Inter are expecting to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen next week. The 27-year-old Danish midfielder will be one of the most important acquisitions this month, as Conte looks to strengthen the Nerazzurri’s midfield and add more options. Other important signatures acquired this month include former Manchester United captain Ashley Young and Nigerian wing back Victor Moses.
