Inter assistant manager Cristian Stellini has cleared up why Antonio Conte exited the stadium so quickly after the full time whistle in today’s draw with Cagliari.

“The manager took some time to reach the dressing room at the end of the first half because just like Milan Skriniar, he too was feeling unwell. At the end of the match he was not very well, he had no energy and went home,” he said in an interview with Italian radio station Radio 1 Rai.

He then spoke on the team’s recent form.

“We are not worried about these three draws in a row, we have to work on extending the squad to play these games with the right freshness and in order to be able to change matches, we have to make a virtue of necessity and have to look forward and not keep thinking about the past.”

In conclusion he shared his thoughts on Ashley Young’s debut in the Nerazzurri shirt.

“He had a good game, he is healthy and he must go on like this.”
