Inter assistant manager Cristian Stellini spoke with Inter TV post-match to give his reaction to the team’s performance in the 1-1 draw at home to Cagliari.

“The missed opportunities and some episodes during the match have created a little tension and nervousness. We need to stay focused and learn from this game. It was a slightly different match from the others. We have to learn to kill off matches and not get anxious in the last few minutes,” he began.

We knew that Cagliari could have played like Lecce did last week. We maintained a good level of aggressiveness and had many important chances but as I have said, we need to kill off games. We must not let ourselves be angered by decisions that go against us.

He concluded: “We must keep calm. One game does not decide a season and when you are missing an important player for more than one Sunday, it is not easy. We already have a lot of absences but we must be better and more lucid.”
