Matteo Politano will undergo a medical with Napoli tomorrow according to a report in today’s print edition of Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian international winger will join the Partenopei on an 18 month loan deal that comes with an obligation to buy set at €19 million attached. Inter will be paid €2 million for the loan and will receive a further €2.5 million in bonuses as part of the deal.
Politano has agreed to a four and a half year contract with the Stadio San Paolo club. He will earn a base salary of €2.2 million a season and has the potential to earn a further €300,000 per season in bonuses.
Politano joined Inter on a permanent basis this past Summer off the back of a successful loan spell in the 2018/19 season but has struggled for regular game time this season.
He has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date but just two of them have come as a starter and he has been unable to make any goal contributions in his time on the pitch.
